WHO WE ARE

The Gilroy Christopher Alliance Band and Color Guard Boosters is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting both Gilroy HS and Christopher HS band and color guard programs. The GCA Boosters is comprised of parents, family, friends and neighbors of the high schools band and color guard students.

The mission of the GCA Boosters is to promote the talent in each of our students and to continually support the band and color guard programs with various marching and winter events as well as fundraising activities. We organize fundraisers to pay for band supplies, entry fees, some transportation costs to competitions, water and refreshments for the students, equipment, uniforms (upkeep & dry cleaning), instrument repairs, music, flags, floors, and other band & guard needs as identified by the band and guard directors.

In order to have a successful band and color guard program, we need an active and supportive band and guard parent organization. Each of you as parents, family, and friends has special talents to contribute to your student’s musical future! Please attend our monthly booster meetings to find out ways how you can volunteer your service to the GCA Booster organization.

EVERYONE is welcome to join! Your support directly supports your local band! With ever increasing budget cuts to the arts & music programs, we need your support to improve our music programs today, and plan for healthy music programs for the future!
